They said it couldn’t be done … and she did it!

Ready to start your chiropractic practice? Have your business plan in hand? How would you respond to this question: “You can’t make a living in chiropractic in this state?” (This said by a long-time successful chiropractor in that state.)

Choose your response:

___a. I guess not. I will just continue working for someone else.

___ b. I am not sure, but I want to try.

___c. I KNOW I can be successful in chiropractic in this state!

___d. I WILL Prove you wrong.

Correct answer is NOT a. If you work for someone else, you’ll never know if you could have been successful. Nor is it b. If you’re not sure, you’re not ready. It might be d. , but I think that’s the wrong motivation. I would say c. is the right answer. You KNOW you CAN! There is no room for doubt.

Here is the best quote on this: “Those who say ‘it can’t be done’ are usually interrupted by those who are doing it.”

This was from a grad who was seeking advice about starting her own practice. She is determined, hard-working, and not afraid of anyone or anything. I KNOW she can succeed, even in “that state.”

I just wrote an article on “Conquering the Venture Killers” about how to avoid the three things that kill new startups.
